University of Iowa’s Pediatric Electrophysiology Program: Improving on Great

Presented by Ian Law, M.D., professor of pediatrics and director of pediatric cardiology at UI Children’s Hospital

The treatment of arrhythmias in children has advanced dramatically throughout the past two decades. Procedural success rates are well above 90 percent for the most common arrhythmias and recurrence rates are low. However, risks remain and 100 percent success has yet to be achieved. Guests will hear how the UI’s commitment to safety and quality improvement have allowed the University of Iowa’s Pediatric Electrophysiology Program to “Improve Upon Great.”
