Nora Annesley Taylor is the Alsdorf Professor of South and Southeast Asian Art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a specialist in the art of the region. She is the author of Painters in Hanoi: An Ethnography of Vietnamese Art and a recipient of the John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship\, Getty Collaborative Research Award\, and is also a Fulbright Scholar.
Bringing decades of research and fieldwork\, Taylor's lecture will broaden audiences' understanding of the collection and appreciation of art from across the globe.
