Barbara Woodard Memorial Scholarship in Memory of Ibrahim Adnan Saadi
The Barbara Woodard Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1990. The fund provided assistance to graduate or undergraduate students in any department of program within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and/or the College of Education.
In 2011 the fund was renamed the Barbara Woodard in Memory of Ibrahim Adnan Saadi. Funds are to be used to provide support for students who are enrolled in the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine. The donor’s hope is to provide support for students who pursue health-related work in helping those who cannot afford medical care, preferably in Israel or Palestine. Award money can be used for, but not limited to, travel expenses to and from the Middle East as well as a modest stipend for services performed during the time overseas. This award may be renewable provided the student(s) continue(s) to qualify for the award.
Congratulations on receiving the Barbara Woodard Memorial Scholarship in Memory of Ibrahim Adnan Saadi
