COVID-19 Information: Our day-to-day operations at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement continue and we are dedicated to engaging all who love the University of Iowa. For the health and safety of our alumni, friends, and employees, we have, however, limited travel and transitioned in-person events to virtual events. If you have difficulty reaching a staff member at the UI Center for Advancement, please call our main number 800-648-6973 or 319-335-3305 for assistance. Please see our events calendar for more information.
Please check back for regularly updated information. We continue to serve our alumni and friends through storytelling that connects you to campus, opportunities to connect with other Hawkeyes, and ways to make a difference by giving back.
At more than 100 years old, University of Iowa radio station WSUI is one of the oldest continuously operating radio stations in the U.S. and considered the first educational radio station west of the Mississippi.
Homecoming Week is being reimagined for 2020. Some events have moved to a virtual format, while new programs allow Hawkeyes to celebrate from afar.
“This is welcome news for all of our players, coaches and fans,” said Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz. “Our focus is now to train and prepare to compete on October 24, recognizing the health and safety of our players is our No. 1 priority.”
With social distancing rules in place, students wearing face coverings, and many On Iowa! events happening virtually, the first weeks of the new year look different for Hawkeyes.
