Endowed Athletics Scholarship Support

Providing a world-class education is one of the most important things we do for University of Iowa student-athletes.
You can make a difference by establishing an endowed scholarship. These funds are invested in perpetuity and help Hawkeye athletics attract top-notch competitors. You can take pride in investing in our student-athletes’ educational endeavors while creating a legacy for you and your family.
Our student-athletes have an opportunity to hone their leadership skills, give back to local communities, and compete for championships—all while earning a degree. Generous private support makes all of it possible.
“I am so grateful to all the donors who have made my experience at Iowa possible. Receiving an endowed scholarship is an honor, and it has been humbling to meet many of the families who support Iowa women's basketball at our annual endowed scholarship event. I really appreciate the opportunity to thank them in person.”
Hannah Stuelke
More than 225 endowed scholarships support Hawkeye student-athletes each year.
On average Hawkeye athletics provides approximately $15 million in scholarship support to Iowa’s student-athletes.
“We wanted to make a difference, a lasting impact. By endowing a scholarship, it’s going to be there long after we’re gone. We wanted to leave a legacy, and that’s one way to do it. There will be student-athletes benefitting from this for generations to come.”
Chelle Lehman (02BA)
