Why do people give? There's a spark, a pull, a passion, or an experience that inspires one person to help another. And so begins a chain, a network of those who are making a difference.
Enter Hawkeyes. We are collaborative, caring, hardworking, and forward-thinking. Together, we have the power to change the world.
Hawkeyes Give Back promotes Iowa's unique culture—through events, programming, and communication—to show UI students, alumni, and all who love Iowa how the generosity of Hawkeyes has shaped our remarkable university.

Join us for a conversation with Jerre Stead (65BBA, 11LHD), a visionary business leader whose transformational support helped build University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Learn about how he and his family are connected to the Hawkeye Wave and give back through philanthropy, volunteering, and leadership.
Students in attendance can enter a drawing for one of ten $100 Hawk Shop gift cards. We’ll also have a drawing for two $500 student organization prize funds for students who attend on behalf of their registered student organization and one $500 student organization prize fund for students who attend on behalf of their UI-registered fraternity or sorority chapter. Students may enter only one drawing and must sign in upon arrival to enter.
Sponsored by the UI Student Advancement Network.
