Hawks Helping Hawks Position Challenge Results

Check out the final standings from the May position challenge that saw the defensive line take the crown with over $10,000 raised.
The defensive line, which won May's position challenge, will be honored on the new Hawkeye Legacy Program wall. The winner of each year's position challenge will be honored here.
Throughout the month of May, we pitted our Legacy Hawks against each other—all for a good cause—through the Hawks Helping Hawks challenge.
We had nearly 100 Hawkeye football letterwinners contribute throughout the month. Support from this new initiative provides resources to current football student-athletes and the Hawkeye Legacy program.
Here are the final results:
- Defensive Line—$10,125
- Offensive Line—$9,900
- Wide Receivers—$3,725
- Defensive Backs—$3,100
- Linebackers—$2,750
- Running Backs/Fullbacks—$2,544
- Tight Ends—$1,350
- Quarterbacks—$1,300
- Special Teams—$1,050
“This challenge showed that our letterwinners not only still love to compete but also want to show their support for our current and future student-athletes,” says Ben Hansen (10BA), director of football administration and engagement. “We’re thrilled to have had so many Legacy Hawks get involved.”
