UI Health Care and Children's Miracle Network: A Life-Changing Partnership
Since 1988, University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital has been a proud member of Children's Miracle Network. Children's Miracle Network brings together donors, corporate partners, and caring communities to support the funding needs of 170 children's hospitals across the United States and Canada.
When donors contribute to a Children's Miracle Network program or partner in or around Iowa, those gifts help support medical treatments, equipment, and facilities at our hospital—directly improving the lives of children and families in our communities.
Funds raised through Children's Miracle Network initiatives are directed to the hospital's highest priority needs, giving leadership the flexibility to allocate resources where they will have the greatest impact.

The 29th Annual KHAK Children's Miracle Network Radiothon will take place August 13-14, 2026, live from Nick's Theater at University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital. During this special two-day event, patients and families will share their inspiring stories and highlight the impact donor support has on children receiving care across Iowa and beyond.
